I'm sorry to say so but your statement is plain wrong. The EV 09 is a completely different principle, it's the only gauge changing technique without axles. You might say that Talgo has adapted the principle of the Welsh slate mines by having automated and secured the move of the loose wheel on the axle, but the MOB invention uses a different principle.
