You should not miss out Wasserauen. It is a fascinating 'out of the way' terminus. You can take the cable car to Ebenalp and visit the amazing 'hanging inn': https://aescher.ch/en/

I recommend you do not 'waste' time going to Santis. It is inconvenient as you have to go a long way by bus. It is much more time efficient to do Ebenalp (as above) a direct link from the train, or the other cable car which runs directly from an AB station (Jakobsbad) to Kronberg
