The Appenzellerbahn line from St Gallen towards Gais will be diverted to a new formation from next Monday, 25th October. This is nearer to the SBB Goods station. Indeed a new halt GÜTERBAHNHOF will open on the deviation, though not until the December timetable change.

Provisional date suggests the line distance will be reduced by 73 metres.
