Low floor two-car EMU, built 1992-93 by SWA/SIG/ABB, same type on RBS with additional coach (three-car units) as ABe 4/12 62-72 (Be 4/12 70 and 72 lost 1st class recently), originally grey/orange/white, since repainted in several versions.

One short half of ex-BDWM 21-25 will be paired with one long half of WSB original 28-32 to make new trains 28-32 and 35-39.

For peak hour traffic one old consist of 1965-66 (SWS/BBC) has been kept (until all Be 4/8 from BDWM will have arrived), originally Be 4/4 9-14 and BDt 80-85, plus Bt 71-79. Originally light blue and white, repainted orange and partly rebuilt after delivery of 15-27 and used together with these motor coaches until 2009. Now still left (AFAIK)
Be 10, BDt 81, Be 13, BDt 84

I've just filled in the defect box and reported it too, so let's see if anything happens!
I am a regular user of the BRB webcam during their operating season and whenever I have reported a defect it usually gets fixed within a couple of days.

I have reported it a couple of times but it is still stuck on 3rd Feb 2010.

It covers Landquart station and very entertaining when working.

Just hoping someone out there might have more luck contacting the operators.

Another well known spot accessible from the same bus is Gurtnellen. Take the bus to Gurtnellen Wiler, walk down through the village, past the church and across the river. Turn left alongside the railway line then pass under the line and climb along the otherside taking the lower of the 2 paths (5-10 min walk from bus-stop).

What you saw, was (as I wrote) ABt 942. I know, ABt 941-943 and
ABe 130 001-010 are not so easy to distinguish. See photos:

But I was surprised to see a non-cogwheel ABe 130 in the tunnel, even though I'm sure it can handle the 105 promille gradient.
I suppose this is just a test and the SPATZ won't run with passengers in the tunnel.

For the photo spot on the curve just short of the Wattinger tunnel walk past the station on your right and a turning appears on the left which dives under the motorway and once through the tunnel you are virtually there. Take care not to upset the farmer.

(Iv'e shown this to illustrate even in heavy snow its accessible) Take the bus to Wassen Dorf. Walk on in the direction of travel for about 10 mins and there is a road leading down to a farm to you left. Head down there and have fun!

If the weather is good (iv'e only done it in summer) you can cut the Gothard trail here and hike back down to Erstfeld. All sorts of possibilities:
