RhB loco diagrams very bad news

gordonwis

Just looked for the RhB loco diagrams (lokdienste) - previously (until a couple of days ago) freely available on RhB Bahn website:

"the lokdienste are now exclusive to members of the RhB Club"

OK I thought - maybe not so bad, how do I join...

looked further on and clicked on RhB Club link...erm...

Club annual membership single person over 16 years - CHF89...

I was several days in the RhB area and didn't see any of Alvra driving
trailers in use...
57801 is in use, 3513 was the motive power when last seen.

I can go one better than March 2017. I saw it (as noted in my report to this group incidentally) on train 844 Andermatt - Disentis on 8 April 2017

Re: MGB 21

The search tool on a photo site mislead me, it was Deh 4/4 II 52 at Göschenen. However 21 is confirmed as having been in passenger service between Andermatt and Disentis on 16.03.2017

Isn`t this a motor luggage van?
Its certainly not a locomotive.

The latest documented passenger working I can find for it is

21 is Deh 4/4 and therefore a baggage motor coach and not a locomotive. As of March it was being used as a heating unit in Brig Depot. It cannot currently run on the mainline as it is due an overhaul which may not be forthcoming.

The latest documented passenger working I can find for it is 21.10.2017 to Göschenen

MGB 21

gbgen <gbgen@...>

MGB 21 is currently dumped on Brig depot in a forlorn state. It has not been reported working here for a long time now. Does anyone know the status of this locomotive please?

RhB RTZ to be called Capricorn

Guerbetaler

At the general assembly of the RhB Friday in Pontresina, the CEO and the
head of the board of directors unveiled the new name for the new EMUs,
They will be called Capricorn (and this is not English ;-) )

and for fear of stating the obvious, some of the freight passing
through Basel SBB is going to / from France.
I was going to make a similar observation, but there has been some comment about >Intermodals adjacent to platform 31, which perhaps tallies with a train routed off the line >from Basel Bad, whereas the trains Muttenz - France and vv usually travel round the 'far' >(west) side of Basel SBB on the dedicated freight tracks
Freight trains to/from France usually run on the two tracks without platforms that bypass Basel SBB to the south. The intermodal trains I have been seeing are stopped on the northernmost through tracks, including track 4 and those nearby (5, 6, 7...). (I haven't been there this week to check if this is still going on.)
