can be found on rollingstockregister.ch as "in service".

I have no idea where 262 might be.

Does anybody know if tractors Te III 144, Tem I 265/268 and Tem II 284 are still in use with SBB passenger division?
They were in service around 2009 but I never saw an update of them being withdrawn.
Thanks for your help, Marco

Just out of curiosity, what search term did you use to look up the
information?
485 004, Re 485 004, same without a space, 33549, 485 004-6, and 91 85 4485
004-6 CH-BLSC yielded no results

I used "91 85 4485 004" as the search term, i.e. the EVN but without the check digit. It doesn't give any result (unlike other class members using the same format), hence my assumption that it has been de-registered/written off.

A search for "91 85 4475 416" and "91 85 4475 417" brings up results, indicating that delivery of the first two of the new BLS order for Vectrons is due soon.

I read this morning that it had been closed yet again due to further leaks in the tunnel

I did not know that there was a difference, other than the original numbering and the entire green body.
I assumed that the height of the lettering was standardized on all locomotive types.

No it wasn't longer than six weeks, because the tunnel had been reopened after the first closure. But then they had to close it again.

11 kV of RhB is special in Chur. Modern 15 kV locomotives are not allowed to work under 11 kV unless they are allowed to do so. If I'm not mistaken, some Vectrons got such a modification.

Old Re 4/4" or Ee 3/3 simply work a bit slower, but they work.

Presumably it is one of the initial batch 11101 - 11106 which afaik all originally had the lower setting of the letters - by 1985 it couldn't be either of the Swiss Express conversions of course.

But I'm sure the article is fine apart from that.......!

It looks as if the loco on the right is 11101 which did have the lettering at the lower level

It is possible that one of the two is a prototype (11101-11106).

M Koblischka posted a photo taken from a train passing the Zurich Depot in 1985
http://www.railfaneurope.net/pix/ch/SBB_CFF_FFS/misc/depot/SBB_Depot_Zurich.jpg

As I looked at the photo, I noticed that the SBB CFF/SBB FFS markings were not at the same height on the two Re 4/4II in the middle of the photo. Both locomotives seem to be from the first series (11101-11155).
