I find it strange that SBB leased MRCE 185 identical to these Re 482 while trying to dispose of their own locos.
From what I know 482 035-049 were built in Italy (Vado Ligure) and differ in too many things from the (German) Traxx standard design. At some point it seemed impossible to fit these locomotives with ETCS baseline 3 and this was the point where SBBC decided to get rid of these locomotives. Even more as they belong to SBBC and interoperability is rather the interest of SBBIN. All the Vectrons are leased by SBBIN, not SBBC. SBBIN doesn't own of a single vehicle...

Moreover SBBIN needs locomotives that can also be operated under 3 kV dc. Thus it's logical to sell locomotives for ac-only use.

However, I learned that some of the locomotives sold will be upgraded to ETCS baseline 3. The original reason, why they should be sold, seems to have gone.

According to railcolor.net and other sources, Re 482 037 has been wearing the InfraLeuna colours since 2012/13.

I was not aware that the loco still had SBB markings in addition. I must have missed that detail.

SBB has been actively seeking to sell it's fleet of D/CH locomotives and replace them with DACHINL or other multi system models.
This is why thee ES64F4 and Vectrons have largely taken over operations for SBBCI in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.

SBB seems committed to keeping 482 000-34, but are seeking to divest 482 035-49. More info on the policy would be helpful

this locomotive (482 037) was initially leased and may have since been purchased by the German operator InfraLeuna (IL)

The five locos noted above all went for scrap today. 16815 to Thevenaz-Leduc and the others to Kaiseraugst

No, MGB doesn't wish that they are published.

Thank you for the fast (and as ever, thorough) reply Markus.

Are those formal diagrams online somewhere ? Maybe I missed them on the MGB website...

MGB has diagrams and it happens that they help to better understand what you see. But don't expect to see what's in the diagrams... The current diagrams are valid until 07.05.2021

Current situation is that two locomotives are in Bellinzona, one HGe" and about three Deh are awaiting new tyres.

Most trains on the Oberalp are hauled (not push-pull). It seems that HGe" are working there, but replacement by Deh is possible.

Visp - Zermatt hat one locomotive for freight and one as push-pull consist. This consist was seen doing 207-222-221-234-233-246-245-258-257-270 Mo-Fr and standing in Glisergrund Sa/Su.  This consist may be replaced by another consist or an another consist may be replaced by this consist, depending on availability.

Trains 550 and 569 are used to exchange the locomotives between Brig and Andermatt.

The remaining two locos, 093 and 096, have been bought by BRM Holdings (Gleisbau Müller, who already operate 456 111 ex VHB 142)

They were transferred today. and taken to Frauenfeld

Add Apm and Bpm EC to the EWIV. And from all these carriages only the ones that have the "GBT" inscription.

Unclear. Reisezüge.ch lists the train as booked for 502 but BAHNFORUM said the trains I mentioned were the first time one had worked on the Gotthard in service.

Would not be an Re 4/4 II set. The only hauled coaches passed for the tunnels are EWIV in pushpull sets with 460s

What was the RABe 502 replacing? Was it a Re 4/4II consist or was it another Trainset (Giruno or Astoro)?

Bombardier have started to infest the Gotthard route. Yesterday 502 016 worked

687 19:03 Basel-Lugano

(7 min turnround in Basel)

It's good to see that the site is back up and running.
It would be nice to see some kind of system, perhaps similar to polier.ch, but perhaps a little less costly.
I am not sure what the monetary value of a photo is, but sites with photos prior to 1990 definitely have some kind of value.
Maybe 1 - 2 CHF for a medium resolution photo and 2 - 3 for a high resolution copy?

I guess you then have to come up with a licensing scheme. I don't know about watermarking, but definitely putting the name on the edge of the photo would be a good idea.
