All those with numbers < 11156 haven't got the latest updates and are due to withdrawal.

Not sure of the future of the Lions as more than a few are 7+ years
out of works and looking decidedly shabby. 420.207 has been out of
traffic for well over a year now, not looking good.
No replacement has been ordered until now.

23 and 101 at the Oberalp (800 trains) is correct.

Schöllenenbahn (600) to Göschenen (!) was worked all day by 53 and 54, the days before it was 54 and 91.

Would 53 have gone with 553, it wouldn't have been back in time to do 648. So change 553 and 642 and it is correct. And btw these trains are not RE but R. GEX appear in the graphic timetable as PE (PE is the train category, GEX is the train name).

51 and 52 work Fiesch - Zermatt

Three out of 55, 92, 94 and 96 work the Goms trains (500), 53 was there as well the days before.

96 had the module today, so it couldn't go down the Schöllenen.

93 is in the workshop in Andermatt, 95 was involved in the collision.

Track use in Andermatt is currently
1 = GEX
2 = Oberalp
3 = Göschenen
4 = Goms - Visp

Exception is the evening train 855-569 working through from Disentis to Visp and using track 1. 550-860, which is the same in the other direction, uses track 2. These are the only not-push-pull consists apart from GEX. They stand in Andermatt, side-by-side at 18:25. Photo available.

The diagram is 550-860, next day 819-824-831-836-843-848-855-569,
also 211-272, but this may be the same consist several days. I only saw that once in Andermatt within 7 days.

SBB / RhB / MGB bits

SBB Saturday 18th
Couple of 421s viewed whilst passing through Zürich:
421 394 EC195
421 383 IC486

RhB
Seen in service between 18th to 20th were:

611/12/13/15/16/17/18/21/22/23/24/25/26/30/31
641/642/643/645/646/659

A few units did put in appearances on loco hauled turns, although I presume that was down to reduced demand at the moment as I didn’t notice any new units in traffic. The biggest bowl out by units was today when the early morning 701 turn from Chur to Samedan turned up with an Allegra unit and 3 freight wagons! The other 701 turn I covered (Saturdays St Moritz to Landquart) was at least a 611...

Krokodil 414 was out as booked on Sunday but thanks to Dave’s gen the night before I didn’t waste my time going for the Rheinschlucht train.

MGB
Seen today whilst on route from the RhB to Brig:

4 GEX905
101 RE836
103 GEX904

53 RE553
96 RE642 (Groschenen)

SNCB Rilns cars in transit through Switzerland (Consisting)

csipromo

I recently added a few SNCB Rilns cars to my model collection. My question is not about the models, but about the type of consist/train that this type of cars might be found in on Swiss rails. If anybody has any photos or can suggest more information about train composition, it would be appreciated. Would these be mixed with similar cars from other railways (eg SBB or FS) or would they be part of a mixed goods train rather than a unit train?

Any information would be appreciated.

I am guessing that all of this is because the RABe Twindexx is now going into regular service.
What happens if they start experiencing more problems with the new trainsets?

ASm Be 4/8 114 has hit a lorry and derailed near Aarwangen Schloss. Two people have been injured.
The Bern Kanton Police are quoted as saying the barriers were working correctly:

The EWI/II and Re 4/4 II set has been replaced by an 8 piece Re 460 push-pull set.

This means the only EWI/EWII sets remaining in traffic are the short sets in Basel used at peak hours.

Re: Serious accident on MGB

From the MGB website we learn that "due to reduced vehicle availability" the half-hourly car shuttles, which normally run from Friday - Sunday, are cancelled.

GEX are working again but at the moment with only one pair of trains, the 902/903. 904/905 are announced to work from 18th July. No word about 900/907 (Zermatt - Chur - Zermatt) and 901/906 (St. Moritz - Brig - St. Moritz), obviously completely cancelled.

BTW, PE 900 would have followed A 2428 at block distance.

So 105 and 4213.
Can anyone identify the other three personwagen for sure?
From the Oberwald webcam it is certain that two ABt 4151-54 and two B 4273-88 were involved. Looking at the front painting of the first ABt it must have been 4154. The second ABt was said to probably be 4152. We'll see, which ones are NOT around. I'm not clear if the Deh, that led the two ABt and on B to Brig was the one involved. It was one of 91-96.
