Can someone tell me where this Crocodile normally resided in Switzerland. Is it a Historic locomotive or privately owned?

Search for Swiss rail photos
Look for "jlovda" (me) on Flickr. Maybe they are a little older than you want, especially advertising locos but there is a lot there. John

An old picture of Zurich Main Station
I really appreciate all your comments and ideas but considering the condition of the image (blurry) and what is in the picture, I think we have beaten it as far as we can go. If I find another picture

I could tell it was 11463 because of the wappen; "Goschenen." As I mentioned to someone else, take a look at the uniform worn by the guy standing next to the Re4/4 II on the next track. John

Question about restored historic locomotives.
Thanks Mike: I saw 10997 sitting on an industrial siding behind a factory next to the mainline Gotthard tracks in Brunnen, I believe. It looked beautiful so I knew it was special. John

Question about restored historic locomotives.
I have photographed several historic locomotives that travel around on weekends. These do not appeared to be owned by SBB Historic. Some I remember are the AE6/6 Graubunden, BLS Ae6/8 208 and Ae4/7 10

Where are they now....two non-functioning locomotives
Thank you Martin. Maybe the crocodile move is a clue of some kind. I remember reading somewhere that it was possible the Erstfeld depot would become an "SBB Historic" museum after the Gotthard Tunnel
