Issues with railway photography in CH?
Just to clarify 'personality' isn't the correct English word to use here. The phrase should be 'personal rights' or equivalent

North-south coridor after Ceneri opening
I should clarify that 'original' meant the terminus of the Bernex route once it became terminus! This is because the route actually originally ran all the way from Genève Quai de la Poste via Bernex,

It would be more correct to say 'to Bernex Vailly'. The original CGTE tram route - an interurban in those days because Bernex was 'out in the country' ran as far as Bernex village. The re-born Bernex

To be fair, even without reduced demand RhB trains occasionally not working with their diagrammed power (or their diagrammed stock) has been happening on the RhB (especially the Albula) for some years

No doubt it is a sign of things to come, but for the time being if you avoid Zurich - Chur (and to some extent Basel - Zurich) you should be OK

Reisezuge.ch is not generally totally up to date with a 'moving feast' like when new trains are gradually being introduced, so unlikely to be the 'horse's mouth'. 502s are still 'oficially' only on Ba

mixed gauge Golden Pass (was Re: [SwissRail] BLS Re 4/4)
I haven't researched it so this is just guesswork, but I bet one proposal was a tunnel from the Wimmis area under Spiez station exiting below Faulensee station - where the lie of the land would provid

Given that... 1) BLS passenger services will be almost all unit in the not too distant future (the way many of the world's major railways are heading) 2) the BLS Re420 are the oldest variant of ex SBB
