RhB : service changes Weds 28/10

David Prior

Following the derailment reported in previous posts, there is a certain amount of diagram replanning on Weds.

4109 05:10 Chur-Samedan appears to run as 7109F ... I assume means no passengers and via Klosters

Bizarrely, both 602 and 610 are shown on the same St Moritz-Landquart diagram :
1326 08:46 St M-LQ
1335 11:20 LQ-St M
1350 14:47 St M-LQ
1359 17:20 LQ-St M

Chur-Thusis : 647 / 642
St.Moritz-Tiefencastel : 642 / 3511 / 631 / 643

602+610 were paired up on those trains due to the increased load (13 coaches) caused by all passengers from St Moritz being diverted via Landquart

It seems strange to have used these old locos rather than more recent ones - any idea why? (Not that I am complaining!)

Thanks
Mick

Quite probably because they are not diagramed for normal scheduled
services and can be most easily deployed on unscheduled services
arising from disruptions etc.

Cheers,

Bill

A later set of diagrams seems to have been issued for today (28.10).

641 on 4109 starting Tiefencastel
619 on 1326, 1335, 1350, 1359
705 on 1358
706 on 7109 as below
